To cut or not to cut

1 AM and just back from maternity… 44 yr old grand multip stuck for 2 hrs at complete dil but only 0 station… exam revealed 3+ caput and not even a budge during contraction… only a fool would attempt vacuum extraction in this case… likely >4 kg of baby… off for section and tubal ligation…

maternity works hard at all hours… two taxi babies yesterday… one breech… that driver even went out and bought clothes for the newborn… wrong time, wrong place, and wrong position but as William S says, “All’s well that ends well.”
