Merry Christmas to All
Sunday, 25 December 2011 December 25, 2011. May all readers of the blog be happy… at least for a day… and thanks for all the help given… whether as volunteers, contributors, workers, or well-wishers.
There are those who lack adequate health… Like the 6 yr old 13 kg lad who has been admitted to BPC for a week and has already expelled 100 Ascaris worms both oral and anal… only beginning to eat at all. Like the 26 yr old mother of three who has been hospitalized for 2 months and struggles still for each breath despite enough meds to treat a ward full of patients. Like the mother of twins born last night, one with an APGAR of 3 still in observation. Like the 3 AIDS patients admitted just in the last week.
We have a Herculean task ahead. Pulling together we may make a dent in the suffering. Merry Christmas to all… A luta continua.
